Shayla is a graduate of the prestigious Aveda Institute in Minneapolis, MN and has continued her advanced education to include studies under David Adams & Anna Karzis, the co-creators of Aveda’s Full Spectrum Color System. Her many professional accomplishments include the Midwest Award Winner of Aveda’s “Be Curly” Contest, as well as being featured in national publications such as Jane magazine & Real Simple. In 2008, Shayla was invited to work backstage at the Aveda Unplugged Runway Show in St. Louis, MO with celebrity hairstylists Lupe Voss & Charlie Morris-Price. In addition, she was selected to perform her skills at New York Fashion Week in Bryant Park with designers Jon Raymen & Alan Pichon. Shayla’s contemporary style retains classic elements that allow her to serve a versatile clientele base.

Mindy received her cosmetology state license at Paul Mitchell’s The System. Her advanced Aveda education at Astrids has expanded her skills to include: color correction, custom color blending, and design cuts & styling. Mindy continues to attend Aveda training classes to advance her techniques to include the latest in Aveda styles and color enhancements.

Kilah McDonald

Licensed Esthetician
"Everyone, no matter the lifestyle, needs some form of skin care. Whether it be treatments for fine lines and wrinkles to acne breakouts. I enjoy educating my clients on how to better take care of their skin and helping them with treatments that are relaxing and also beneficial."

Kilah specializes in Brow Design, Body Waxing, and Relaxation Massages. Through her experience in the skin care industry that includes:…(insert education & experience information here)…she has discovered the vast improvements that can be attained through the use of Aveda products. All of Tasha’s skincare treatments are customized for the specific needs of each individual client.
